About

What is this place?
Home Game Guide is your guide to hosting, attending, and playing home poker games. With tips on how to setup a home game (including equipment and supplies you'll need, types of games, blinds, antes, rules, and more) as well as general poker concepts, hopefully you'll find some good information to take with you to your next home game.

Who am I?
Like you, I'm just another huge poker fan. Since I'm not a pro playing at the World Series each year, most of my poker playing happens at home games. I'm not claiming to be the greatest player in the world or even the best home game player in the world, but I am a fan so I decided to put up this site to share my poker ideas and experiences - hoping to help you make your own home games a little more exciting and fun.
